1. On Apowersoft’s website, click 'Start Recording.'

2. The first time you use Apowersoft Online Screen Recorder, you will be prompted to install a launcher, click 'Download Launcher'

Follow the installation instructions for your browser
- (Windows) Allow the installer to make changes to your device
- (Mac) Type your local password when prompted. Move the launcher to the trash once installation is finished.

3. Once Apowersoft Online Screen Recorder is launched, a dotted line square and toolbar will pop up on screen

On Windows, the toolbar will be hidden behind any windows you have open

The dotted line square can be adjusted to any size by dragging the edges to fit what you want to record. Preset sizes help you toggle between small and large areas with ease. A capture tool uses a crosshair mouse to highlight windows and other sections of your screen to select.

Sound Source

The program has four sound sources: system sound (from your computer), microphone, both, and none. In the toolbar, set the sound source to system sound when recording any media playing on screen.

Saving

Apowersoft creates a folder to save your videos. To find this folder, Choose “Open in folder” after saving your video. If you can’t find your video after saving, go to Settings and check under “default output directory”. You can change the folder there whenever you’d like. Rename your videos to keep track of content.
